Sunflower & Highland cow session
Step into the storybook charm of The Swallow’s Nest with our seasonal Sunflower & Highland Cow Session. Whether you’re brushing a Highland cow, wandering through the sunflowers or simply taking it all in, it’s a beautiful way to spend some time on the farm. A curated gallery of images will be delivered afterwards - the perfect excuse for photos with your loved ones (plus a few fluffy cows).
The package
Your session is private and thoughtfully guided. You’ll meet, feed and brush Highland cows, and wander through the sunflowers. Your visit includes a curated gallery of digital photographs, capturing quiet moments to remember long after you leave.
To preserve the calm atmosphere of the farm, we release only a limited number of sessions each week. Group sizes are kept deliberately small to create a personal and unhurried experience.

Please Note: This is a private property. All visits must be booked in advance. We do not accept drop-ins. To ensure the safety of our animals and the privacy of the property, unannounced visitors will be turned away. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you by appointment. FAQ
What happens if it rains - Can we reschedule?
Sessions can go ahead in light rain conditions, but in extreme weather (e.g. thunderstorms, heavy downpour, extreme heat) we’ll reschedule your booking at no extra charge. Please note: All bookings are non-refundable.
Where is the farm, and what should I bring?
We are located in East Kangaloon, NSW. Full address will be sent upon booking. We provide all animal feed, but you’re welcome to bring 1x bag of carrots as an extra treat for the animals. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and closed-in shoes - especially after rain.
When will we receive our photos?
We aim to deliver your photo gallery within 2-3 weeks. All photos are edited and sent to you via a link. Delays during busy periods will be discussed with you directly. Please reach out if you have any questions.
Can we take Sunflowers home?
Each group is welcome to take home a sunflower, with additional sunflowers are available to purchase at $10 for three stems.
